Jon D’Aversa is a member of the acquisitions team at The Becker Organization (“TBO”).  Mr. D’Aversa joined TBO in 2021 working to identify and evaluate prospective deals for the firm.  Through his hands-on approach, Mr. D’Aversa sources and cultivates new relationships in multiple markets increasing opportunities for TBO. 

 

Mr. D’Aversa joins TBO following a successful time at Equity Major, a real estate investment firm based in Miami, Flordia, where he was a Principal and COO.  Primarily responsible for running the acquisitions team, Mr. D’Aversa’s role included overseeing all aspects of investment from inception through disposition.  During his 5 years at the firm, he developed strong relationships across a network of brokers and quickly capitalized on unique opportunities in niche markets. 

 

Prior to working in real estate, Mr. D’Aversa had a career in professional ice hockey spanning over a decade.  Signed by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2007, he went on to spend the second half of his professional career in Europe.  Mr. D’Aversa’s interest in real estate started when he purchased an investment property at age 21, reinvesting the profits into multiple subsequent real estate investment opportunities.
